Just founded in 2010, Black Bear Kayaking are the new base for adventurous kayak trips in Tofino. Fresh and motivated, we are providing Kayak trips through the Clayoquot Sound.

Driving directions from Nanaimo to Weigh West Marine Resort (207 km – approximately 3 hours 45 mins)
- Take the BC-19 N/Inland Island Hwy/Nanaimo Pkwy for 41km.
- Take exit 60 to merge onto BC-4 W/Memorial Rd/Pacific Rim Hwy toward Port Alberni in 39 km.
- Turn right at BC-4 W/Pacific Rim Hwy/River Rd (signs for Ucluelet/Tofino/BC-4 W).
- Arrive in Tofino after another 31 bumpy kms.

Black Bear Kayak is looking for reliable and talented guides who want to lead Kayak expeditions on Vancouver Island.
While Black Bear Kayaking is a young venture with a small team, a high level of participation and excellent working conditions are guaranteed.
Next to our daily kayaking adventures we want to offer multiday trips and are actively searching for experienced staff that can help and support us. A 'Daily Kayak Guide'/ Level 1 certification according to SKGABC is a minimum requirement.
